Turkiye'nin Otomobili Girisim Grubu (TOGG) has unveiled its early stage compact SUV prototype as well as a sedan concept car at a public event held at IT Valley in Gebze, Turkey.
The production ready version of the SUV is expected to launch in 2022 and will position TOGG as Europe's first non-conventional battery electric SUV manufacturer. The SUV also promises best-in-class features such as the longest wheelbase and the most spacious interior in its class, as well as the best acceleration performance and the lowest total cost of ownership.
Both cars are based on an all new electric and connected platform completely developed by TOGG's engineers.
Customers will be able to choose between either a 300km or 500km range high-energy lithium-ion battery, both of which will reach a claimed 80% state of charge in less than 30 minutes of charging. TOGG will also offer an eight-year warranty on the battery pack and the battery management and liquid thermal management systems.

The zero to 100km/h sprint is accomplished in just 7.6 seconds in the rear-wheel drive only car, while the same sprint will take only 4.8 seconds with the all-wheel drive option, delivering unmatched acceleration with zero emissions and in complete silence.
A wide digital infotainment display in the interior allows the car to serve as a smart living space, while its user-centric interface promises to reduce as many physical control switches as possible, which, coupled with the help of voice-command technology, allows for a minimalist design in the interior.
A unique centre console that houses the gear and electronic parking brake functions meanwhile stands out as the most important styling feature of the interior, with a form that mimics an aircraft joystick.
