Updated 2011 Honda Accord revealed

Both the Accord Coupé and Accord Sedan have received minor revisions for 2011.

To start, both the Coupé and Sedan are now more fuel efficient, thanks to improved aerodynamics, reduced engine friction, and better transmission gearing. These improvements add up to an increase of several kilometres per litre.

For example, the 4-cylinder sedan gets 10.21 L/100 in city driving, and 6.91 L/100 on the motorway. The V6 sedan now achieves 12.36 L/100 in the city, and 7.83 L/100 on the motorway.

Aerodynamic tweaks include a revised grill, and a more aggressively styled front bumper. A new rear boot lid, and new wheel design round out the style changes.

On the inside, the automatic equipped V6 Coupé gets paddle shifters, and cars with Navigation, will now have an integrated backup camera. Other changes include repositioned climate control knobs, and the addition of seat position memory to the options list.
