Volkswagen of America, Inc. has announced that its 2022 Arteon has been awarded the 2022 Top Safety Pick award by the U.S.A Insurance Institute for Highway Safety when equipped with LED head lights and the Adaptive Front-lighting System with dynamic cornering lights.
The 2022 Volkswagen Arteon earned 'good' ratings in the six crashworthiness evaluations. The Front Assist system - standard on all Arteon models in the U.S.A - recieved a superior rating for vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention and an advanced rating for vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention.
The Arteon is powered in the U.S.A via a 2.0-litre engine that produces 296bhp and 400Nm torque. Power is now put to road in the Arteon via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
