Volkswagen introduces the Highline-Plus trim for the Passat

The Highline-Plus builds on to the standard Highline trim, adding a new chrome grille section, Bluetooth telephone connectivity with touchscreen adaptor, as well as Volkswagen's RNS 310 satellite navigation unit with integrated radio and MP3-compatible CD player.

The Highline trim level is already relatively well-equipped, with features such as ABS and ESP, six airbags, 17-inch alloy wheels, semi-automatic climate control, cruise control and leather upholstery all as standard.

The new Highline-Plus trim level is available for both the Passat sedan and estate versions, and carries a slight premium of about £750 over the Highline model trim in the UK.
