Volkswagen reveals more of the ergoActive seats of the ID.7
Long-distance travel requires comfortable seats, and the Volkswagen ID.7, fittingly, is available with ergoActive premium seats which have been certified by the German Campaign for Healthier Backs.
These seats, Volkswagen has revealed, will come with air cushions that - when used in combination with the massage function - can relieve tension generated from sitting in the same position for too long. This massage function can also be tailored to the user's needs, with specific programme sequences lasting from between 10 to 30 minutes designed to help relax and activate the back muscles.
Further aiding occupant comfort here is offer dynamic air conditioning, which means that the seat cushion and backrest can be heated or cooled independently of each other. When set into its automatic mode, each seat will be able to monitor temperature and moisture levels at the contact zone between the seat and the passenger, and then calculate an individual optimum climate based on other climate-relevant factors and the user's preferred settings.
