Volvo has revealed the first teaser of its first all-electric MPV. Set to take the EM90 name, Volvo states the car will serve like a Scandinavian living room, and has been designed to allow users to make the most of their time in a car.
The revealed top-down image of the car reveals it will get a sunroof at the front, and an additional panoramic sunroof at the rear.
The car is rumoured to be based on the same SEA1 platform that already underpins cars including the Lotus Eletre and Polestar 5, although it is likely to share most in common with the Zeekr 009 MPV, which is offered with an NEDC range of up to 700km and comes with either 268bhp or as a 534bhp all-wheel drive variant.
The Volvo EM90 is set to make its global debut on 12 November 2023, with the firm ready to take pre-orders for customers in China on the same date.
