XPENG Motors has announced its entry into the Singapore market with a pop-up showroom right in the heart of our central business district at UOB Plaza 2.

But to summarise, the car is built atop the firm's SEPA2.0 platform that makes use of an 800V architecture alongside what is claimed to be an advanced software technology, and also allows it to offer generous space in the cabin.
The XPENG G6 comes here in two variants, with the more powerful 'RWD Long Range' variant offering a total of 282bhp and 440Nm of peak torque
Opt for the 'RWD Standard Range' variant of the G6 and you'll get a total of 255bhp and 440Nm of torque to deploy, allowing you to crack the century sprint in 6.6 seconds. The 'RWD Long Range' variant, meanwhile, gets a total output of 282bhp and also offers 440Nm of torque, allowing you to complete the same sprint in 6.2 seconds.
That 800V architecture, by the way, allows the 'RWD Long Range' variant of the XPENG G6 to charge at a maximum power of 280kW, which means you can take the car from a 10% to an 80% state-of-charge in less than 20 minutes. The car is offered here with either a 66kWh or an 87.5kWh battery pack, the latter allowing the XPENG G6 to post a WLTP range of 570km.

The cabin of the XPENG G6 comes equipped with features including ventilated front seats, a 960W 18-speaker Xopera audio system, a 15-inch infotainment system, and offers a total of 571 litres of boot space at the rear.
And if you're a UOB customer, you'll be able to secure an additional $5,000 discount on your G6, on top of the pre-launch exclusive privileges being offered, which are worth over $10,000. XPENG is additionally partnering with local F&B brands including Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery, Whiskdom, and more, throughout the weekends, so visitors can enjoy exclusive and unique flavours inspired by the car as they visit the showroom.
The XPENG pop-up has opened since 24 July 2024, and can be found at UOB Plaza 2, 80 Raffles Place, Singapore 048624. It will open from 9:00am to 7:00pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Sundays.
