Zyrus unveils the Lamborghini-based LP1200 Strada

Zyrus has launched the new LP1200 Strada. Based on a Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Zyrus gave its own Norwegian spin to it, and in the process has created a car that exceed all expectations. After two years of rigorous testing and over 6,000km of track action, the car is ready for production, with only 12 units to be produced.

The LP1200 Strada was built as a road legal version of Zyrus' other vehicle, the LP1200 R, which was based on a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo and thus only meant for the track. With the LP12000 Strada being street legal, the driver has the ability to select the horsepower output at the touch of a button.

The Zyrus LP1200 aims to be the ultimate track day machine, offered in limited production to customers worldwide. Fully rebuilt with over 600 new parts, this is the ultimate road car that can be driven like a race car.

For 'everyday' road use, the LP1200 Strada has 887bhp, but at the touch of a button, this power can be increased up to 1,184bhp for track use. All this can be done through Zyrus' electronic Smart Dash control system, where customers control all options via a smartphone app.

The LP1200 Strada weighs 1,427kg and produces 2,010kg of downforce at 200km/h, yet is still has all the creature comforts and standard safety equipment of a road legal car. Upon purchase, the car comes with a track day familiarisation package with Zyrus and its engineers.
