Jaecoo J8 PHEV Review After driving a diesel-powered SUV for several years, my first impression of the Jaecoo J8 PHEV was how much more powerful and torquey it felt. The instant electric torque delivers strong acceleration from a standstill, making overtaking and merging onto highways effortless. In fact, the responsiveness feels even better than my previous diesel vehicle. The overall driving experience is also exceptionally comfortable and refined. The cabin is quiet, with very little road or engine noise entering the interior. Combined with the smooth power delivery of the hybrid system, every journey feels relaxed and enjoyable, whether in city traffic or on longer drives. The vehicle is packed with features and offers a premium feel for its price point. At this stage, I am still testing its long-term reliability and durability, but my initial ownership experience has been positive and encouraging. I would also like to commend Serina Goh, my service advisor, for her excellent support throughout the process. She was helpful, reliable, responsive, and generous with her time in answering questions and addressing concerns. If you are considering purchasing a Jaecoo or Omoda vehicle, I highly recommend looking for Serina. Her professionalism and customer service made the experience much smoother and more enjoyable.
