A train fault that occurred on the East-West Line on Friday (21st October) morning at around 7:00am caused delays from Queenstown to Jurong East stations towards Joo Koon. Around 15 minutes later, it announced that free bus services were available between Queenstown and Jurong East and that train services would resume at 7:30am. At 7:31am, it tweeted to announce an additional 15 minutes travel time between the affected stations.
