The new Lamborghini Huracan EVO has been launched in Singapore, marked by a launch event held at the Lamborghini Showroom along Leng Kee Road.
The 5.2-litre naturally aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine has been tweaked to deliver more power and a more emotional soundtrack. Thanks to titanium intake valves and a refined lightweight exhaust system, the engine now delivers 631bhp and 600Nm of torque. With a dry weight of just 1,422kg, the Huracan EVO is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds.
The Huracan EVO also features Lamborghini's new rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring system, while at the heart of the car is a new Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) central processing unit that controls every aspect of the car's dynamic behaviour.
The system controls every aspect of the car's dynamic behaviour, fully integrating all of the car's dynamic systems and set up to anticipate the next move and needs of the driver, interpreting this into perfect driving dynamics.
Of course, the design of the Huracan EVO has been driven by significant aerodynamic improvements. The front features a new bumper and front splitter, as well as enlarged air intakes. The aero competency has been further improved with the underbody, which has been shaped to maximise aerodynamic efficiency.
At the rear, the Huracan EVO features twin exhaust high up on the car's rear bumper, as well as an integrated, slotted spoiler to provide enhanced air flow. According to Lamborghini, Lamborghini says the revised styling on the Evo has further improved the downforce by seven times and overall aerodynamic efficiency by five times over the previous version of the Huracan.
The interior of the Huracan EVO features a dedicated new EVO trim in Alcantara and leather mix, with Arancio Dryope details matching the body tone. Additionally, new equipment is available, including a new 8.4-inch HMI capacitive touchscreen located in the centre console.
This governs key car functions including seats, climate and the status of the LDVI system in real-time, and can be operated using multi-finger gesture control.
The car also features a more advanced voice command system, as well as a dual-camera telemetry system with a high-capacity hard disk. Lamborghini has increased the range of personalisation options on the Huracan that include new wheels, colours, upholstery options and style packs.
