Bugatti has revealed a bespoke Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport at the Top Marques luxury exhibition in Monaco.
The Chiron Pur Sport 'Grand Prix' takes its inspiration from renowned Racing Driver Louis Chiron - the eponym for the Bugatti Chiron itself. Louis Chiron won the French Grand Prix at Montlhery in his Type 51 - an enhanced version of the legendary Type 35 - together with the brilliant Achille Varzi. The number 32 that featured on their racing car is thus present on the bespoke Chiron Pur Sport 'Grand Prix'.
This number is painted entirely by hand, and forms just part of a number of custom elements Bugatti developed especially for this vehicle.
To pay homage to the legendary Grand Prix racing Bugattis of the 1920s and 30s, the bespoke car also sports two new exterior colours, on top of a hand-painted EB pattern for the front aisles, which is also repeated on the interior door panels.
The '32' and 'Grand Prix' motifs continue throughout the cabin, for example as a special centre console inlay in black anodised aluminium, with a silver hand-painted inscription. The motifs also extend to the door sills, headrests and entry lights. Subtle branding is also said to have been employed in order to distinguish the model as a rare and unique product of the bespoke programme.
