Hannes Ruoff has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Asia Pacific, which is based in Singapore. His appointment will take effect from 1 October 2022. Previously, Ruoff was the Area Manager of the Asia Pacific and Australia Region in the Overseas and Emerging Markets sales region for Porsche AG. He will be succeeding Arthur Willmann at the regional office, who has held the position since 2018.

Detlev von Platen, member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG states that the company sees many dynamic markets with growth and innovation potential in the Southeast Asia region, with the company's greater involvement with the region being on the cards. This is underscored by a recent opening of a local assembly facility in Malaysia.

He believes that Hannes Ruoff is a true expert in the Southeast Asia region and will therefore be able to conduct successful projects that are already under way, while further expanding Porsche's brand presence in Asia Pacific.

Hannes Ruoff started his career at Porsche Asia Pacific in 2009 as a Training Manager for Sales and Marketing. He subsequently took on the position of Regional Sales Manager. In 2015, he moved on to the headquarters of Porsche AG, becoming Regional Marketing Manager. Since 2020, Ruoff has been Area Manager for the Asia Pacific and Australia.
