Smart special edition makes it all comfortable and cosy
08 May 2013|2,682 views
Designed in collaboration with BoConcept, the Danish urban interior design specialist, the striking Smart allows its occupants to experience all the comfort, style and individualism of a modern living environment on the move.
Based on the Smart Fortwo passion (84bhp turbo), the Smart Fortwo BoConcept signature style boasts an elegant exterior that fuses Brabus details with BoConcept design elements.
Body panels are finished in eye-catching matt crystal white - the finish a nod to exclusive matt surfaces found in unique home interiors - and the contrasting colour is matt oriental brown metallic. The dark shade references the wood colours of the furniture world and features on the tridion cell, door mirror caps and alloy wheels. Distinctive smart light lemon striping sets off the mirror caps and alloy wheels, while the soft top of the cabrio is brown. The coupe version benefits from a panoramic roof.
The classy appearance of the Smart Fortwo BoConcept signature style is mirrored in its interior.
The cabin's seats, door trims, dashboard and Brabus three-spoke steering wheel are all covered in sumptuous tobacco brown leather. As on the exterior, there is smart light lemon detailing and a grey felt material has also been woven into parts of the trim for added contrast. BoConcept lettering is visible on the black velour floormats and the seats. The oak insert on the gearknob - the first time wood has been used in a smart - completes the interior.
