Two private collectors purchase Aston Martin CC100 concept

The Lamborghini Veneno had a four-unit production run - three for sale and one for museum display - and when it was unveiled, it was considered scarce and exclusive.
On the other hand, Aston Martin has upped the game through the CC100 concept with just two units in production, and apparently both are already sold out with no further plans of increasing production.
The two-seater CC100 concept celebrates the firm's centenary anniversary with references to the iconic DBR1 racer and previewing its design future. The V12-powered CC100 - last seen at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed - was subsequently sold to a collector who was willing to fork out up to £500,000 (S$972,359).
A second unit has been commissioned by a customer, and unlike the first piece, will be modified to be made road legal so that it can be driven on public roads.
Both cars will be powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine connected to a six-speed automated manual gearbox that is good for a century sprint of four seconds, before reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 290km/h.
