Aston Martin has just dropped exciting news about its latest luxury residential project, teaming up this time with Setai, Brazil's biggest privately-owned developer in the Northeast, on Setai Residences Interiors by Aston Martin. The news marks the first time Aston Martin has officially entered Brazil's residential scene, and in fact, the entire South American market.
If you're a longtime fan of the brand, however, you may know that this isn't Aston's first rodeo when it comes to real estate.
The British luxury performance marque has been building quite the impressive portfolio, with its pioneering N°001 Minami Aoyama project first wrapping up in Japan last year, followed by the unveiling of plans for Aston Martin Residences Daytona Beach Shores, an 86-unit development in Florida.
What makes this Brazilian project particularly interesting, however, is that it marks the brand's second "Interiors by Aston Martin" collaboration, which brings the signature Aston Martin touch - effectively the same attention to materials and craftsmanship that goes into their cars - to residential living. The first collaboration took shape in a luxury development in the U.A.E., announced in 2024. l
This time round, we're talking a seriously impressive 45-storey tower, which is set to become one of the tallest buildings in Northeast Brazil. Size-wise, the units range from between 1,130 to 3,440 square feet, and will be located in Joao Pessoa, in Paraiba state.
But back to the homes themselves. As with the Daytona Beach project, this latest development will see Aston Martin taking the lead on interiors, bringing the same philosophy from their luxury cars into these homes. (Think timeless design, top-tier materials, precision engineering, and an obsessive attention to detail.)
Conversely, its partner isn't a low-volume, boutique developer. Operating in four Northeast capitals, Brazilian firm Setai Grupo GP has delivered over 8,000 residential units in the nation thus far. It believes that the addition of an Aston Martin project to its lineup evinces its serious intentions about raising the bar for the region's real estate market.
The goal? To position Northeast Brazil as the country's premier "beach home" destination with world-class residential options.
While Aston chips away at the interiors of these new homes, the architecture will be handled by Baggio Pereira and Schiavon Arquitetura. The two names are apparently known for their expertise, and will add another layer of precision to make sure the creative design and technical execution are spot-on.
Both Aston Martin and Setai Grupo GP believe that Setai Residences Interiors by Aston Martin will eventually culminate as a landmark project blending architecture, design, lifestyle, and performance, and that it will put the Paraíba region on the map as a high-end destination both within Brazil and internationally.
