Every year, I would visit the Singapore Motor Show at Suntec, and I have been doing it well before I started writing about cars. Yes, the opportunity to check out the newest cars in the market was a major draw, but what really seals the deal are the great deals, freebies and fun activities.
It really doesn't matter if you are in the market for a new car, chances are, you would still have a good time at Motor Show. As always, I'm on the lookout for sales and offers for car care products, sideshows and things to do apart from queuing to have a seat in my favourite new cars, so here's what I've found.
Some of the best deals that you can get for car care products and accessories
I'll start it off with the most important one - discounts! Every Motor Show, there would be several booths selling car accessories and car grooming products such as car shampoo, polishing compound, wax and others.
Sonax and Armorall booths at level 3 of Suntec Convention Centre have a range of products offered at up to 60% off!
This year, we have three booths, with Sonax and Armorall booths on level 3 and United Automobile Services, which offers products from 3M, Meguiar's, Hummer, PIAA and others, at level 1.
Head down to the level 1 atrium and there's a wide range of accessories and car grooming supplies available at attractive prices
With discounts up to 60%, this is the best time for you to stock up on your car care products and consumables. Oh and this year, all the booths are located outside of the main hall, which means that you won’t even have to purchase a ticket to access the amazing deals!
Do take note, however, that the booths are quite spread apart - the booths at level 3 are located near the escalator, along the corridor leading to the function rooms, while United Automobile Services' booth is located in the level 1 atrium (near Don Don Donki).
Merchandise from your favourite brands
Already own a car, or not in the market for a new one? You could still head to your favourite car brands to check out their latest offerings. While you are at it, you could also shop for branded merchandise at special Motor Show discounted rates.
Many brands have brought along branded merchandise including apparels, model cars and more!
If you need more specific directions, well, you could head to the BMW, MINI, Honda, Subaru, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz - I've visited them all, and can assure you there are lots of merchandise for you to browse.

If you aren't looking to purchase any products, worry not, there are other activities to enjoy at Motor Show! Several car brands, including Toyota and Audi, have racing simulators available for Motor Show-goers to experience.

Toyota has a reaction test game with light-up buttons on a wall - give it a go and you will get a cute Bonsai plushie ornament blind box, and the chance to win a gold ornament if your box happen to contain the lucky number!

After you have bought what you need and had enough fun, you'll probably want some light snacks to recharge. We've got you covered as well! There are several brands that offer refreshments - BMW is giving out free coffee, bubble tea and waffles, while Audi has sandwiches and coffee!
