Kia Motors has launched the updated Cerato Forte K3, one of the brand's most popular models. The upgrades to the third generation Cerato Forte K3 include a refreshed interior and exterior, and a series of new technologies designed to improve safety, comfort, convenience, and driver enjoyment.

The front gets an updated gloss black trim for Kia's signature tiger-nose grille as well as newly designed headlamps, bumper and fog lamps, and a reprofiled hood. Besides a new rear bumper and V-shaped LED tail lamp design, the new Cerato Forte K3 also features new 16-inch or 17-inch two-tone aerodynamic rims.
The car's generous 4,560mm length, 2,700mm long wheelbase, 1,780mm width, and 1,445mm height present comfortable interior space and high levels of practicality, too.
Inside, the Kia Cerato Forte K3 lineup has received a range of updates to the interior to create a more premium ambience. They include new materials to the dashboard and door trims, and to the centre fascia and console hood. Previously only available on the driver's seat, the upgraded Cerato Forte K3 is now available with a new front passenger seat ventilation system to improve comfort.
Plus, an optional 7-inch integrated touchscreen multimedia system that features the latest in connectivity technology such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, takes the in-car experience to a whole new level.
On top of that, Kia's new Smart Trunk System further improves user convenience. If the driver is hauling heavy items, this new function opens the trunk when the smart key is detected in close proximity.
Drivers now have the new Drive Mode Select (DMS) system at their disposal with three selectable modes designed to enhance driver engagement - Normal, Sport and Eco. Each drive mode varies the steering weight, transmission shift mapping as well as throttle and engine response, which provide a unique drive to suit his or her mood.
The upgrades also include a series of new technologies to improve safety, convenience, comfort, and driver enjoyment. For example, the optional Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system, which monitors cars behind and provides the driver with a visual warning in the door mirror and an audible tone when another vehicle enters the driver's blind spot.
In terms of power, the 2017 Kia Cerato Forte K3 is powered by a 1.6-litre Gamma MPI engine and six-speed automatic transmission, producing 128bhp and 157Nm of torque.
