Acura to debut new all-electric ZDX at Monterey Car Week

Acura is scheduled to launch the all-electric ZDX come 7 August 2023, at Monterey Car Week.

A first teaser video of the car shows that it will get LED elements in its head lights similar in design to the Acura Integra fastback, alongside a light strip along the lower sections of its front grille.

Acura states that the ZDX has been styled by its Acura Design Studio in Southern California, and will retain many of the exterior themes previewed by the Acura Precision EV Concept. These, Acura states, include an evolution of Acura's Diamond Pentagon grille.

Both the ZDX and a performance-oriented ZDX Type S are set to go on sale in the U.S.A come early 2024. The cars will feature Acura's first integration of Google in its infotainment system, and will also mark the launch of Acura's collaboration with premium audio firm Bang & Olufsen.
