Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta concept designed by Pininfarina

The 2uettottanta concept is designed to mark the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina, as well as the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. The name and design of the concept roadster is inspired by the Alfa Romeo Duetto that was produced in 1966.

The two-seater 2uettottanta roadster measures 1797mm wide, 4213mm long and 1280mm high, which gives it similar dimensions to the Duetto. Among the design highlights include thin LED strip headlights, the trademark Alfa Romeo grille and a cuttlebone design. At the rear, the 2uettottanta features "floating wings" that form "roll-over bars behind the seats", and similar horizontal LED light clusters at the front also appears as the rear taillights.

Alfa Romeo had not revealed any performance details, but Pininfarina is said to be keen to have a 1750 cc longitudinal-mount turbocharged engine installed. This is in homage to the Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce, which replaced the original Duetto.

The interior of the 2uettottanta features lightweight sport seats wrapped in stitched leather, with matching material used around the shifter and the steering wheel. The flat-bottomed steering wheel comes with shift paddles for the gearbox, and the instrumentation is biased towards the driver.
