Alfa Romeo returns to Singapore with the Junior Elettrica

In February 2025, it was widely reported that Alfa Romeo was one of two brands (the other being Jeep) to depart our sunny shores by June of the same year. Then, in mid-2025, Red Rock & Rosso Motor acquired both brands with the intention of keeping the flames of "two undeniable icons of the auto industry" alive.
And now, it has kept that wick burning with the launch of the all-new Junior Elettrica.
The all-electric variant of the Junior model range is Alfa Romeo's first Cat A model in Singapore and joins the Tonale, Stelvio, and Giulia (including the sporty Quadrifoglio variant) in its current local lineup.
Crucially, it also marks the Italian brand's first electric vehicle (EV) here. While the Junior is also offered internationally as a mild hybrid, Sgcarmart understands that there are currently no plans to bring it to our shores.
Crafted by the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile in Turin, the Junior Elettrica is very much a compact car (4,170mm long, 1,780mm wide, and 1,500mm tall), and marks a return to segment it has not occupied since the MiTo and Giulietta hatches.
As you'd expect for an Alfa, one of its most immediate distinctive hallmarks is its iconic, reinterpreted "leggenda scudetto" grille, with 'Alfa Romeo' text emblazoned across. For fans of the other design, fret not, for Alfa Romeo Singapore offers both options at no additional cost.

And that's not all the front has to offer - the Junior Elettrica also comes with "3+3" adaptive full LED matrix headlights, as well as the unmistakable "trilobo" motif (formed by the scudetto and lower air intakes). A glance around the rest of its exterior also throws up additional design details, with the laser-etched "biscione" on the C-pillar and the iconic "coda tronca" rear (referencing legendary models like the Giulia TZ).
But inside is where the car arguably shines, with the Icona seats upholstered in durable RipStop fabric (offering breathability and comfort, a huge plus in our tropical climate) and detailed with a Biscione-inspired pattern.

Other interior features include a Blue Scuba Shark dashboard with a sleek, metallic finish, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with the signature "cannocchiale" design. Paired to it is a 10.25-inch infotainment display angled towards the driver offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and eight-colour ambient lighting that, in my opinion, gives off the vibe of an expensive gaming rig.
Its new generation electric powertrain also sees an electric motor on its front axle - delivering 100kW and 260Nm of torque - paired with a 54kWh battery. Together, this gives the Junior Elettrica a century sprint timing of 9.0 seconds, a WLTP range of up to 410km, and a max DC charging rate of 100kW. The latter allows it to replenish approximately 100km of range in 10 minutes, as well as charge from 10-80% in around 30 minutes.
Additionally, the Junior Elettrica also offers the brand's renowned three 'DNA' drive modes: Dynamic for maximum performance, Natural for a balanced setting, and the power-saving Advanced Efficiency (which, according to the brand, does not compromise on driving enjoyment).
A comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems include features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centring, Traffic Jam Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Automatic Emergency Braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection. Additionally, drivers will get to benefit from systems such as Drowsy Driver Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keeping Assist.

And for added convenience, the Junior Elettrica also comes with 360° parking sensors, and a 180° rear camera with "drone view".
Safety is further enhanced with six airbags - two for the front driver and passenger, two supplemental side airbag curtains offering side-impact protection, and two seat-mounted front pelvic/thorax/shoulder side airbags.
Alfa Romeo Singapore has said that deliveries for the Junior Elettrica are expected to commence from the end of Q2 2026
It's worth noting that the car is unfortunately not for sale yet, with a private event held on Thursday (9 April 2026) serving as a preview for the car.
Alfa Romeo Singapore has, however, provided indicative prices for the model's two trims that will soon be available (all prices do not include COE). The first 20 units of the Junior Elettrica and Junior Elettrica Stile (Duo Tone) will retail at special launch prices of $82,888 and $87,888; their respective prices are $103,888 and $108,888 otherwise.
Deliveries for the Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica are expected to commence from the end of Q2 2026, and interested customers can get up close and personal with the car, which is currently on display at the Red Rock & Rosso Motor Experience Centre at 43 Malan Road, Gillman Barracks, Singapore 109443.
