The 11th generation Honda Accord e:HEV has finally touched base on Singapore's shores, unveiled and launched at the 2025 Singapore Motor Show in the RS variant. This is also the first instance of the e:HEV badge being carried by the brand's flagship sedan.
Offered solely in the RS e:HEV variant, the all-new, self-charging hybrid sedan comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that works in tandem with two electric motors to deliver 181bhp and 335Nm of torque. Honda states that this system is capable of helping the car achieve a fuel economy of up to 20km/L. In addition, the advanced e:HEV set-up is also able to seamlessly choose from three interchangeable drive modes: EV Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive.
The Accord e:HEV's hybrid powertrain is mated to an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) with a single fixed-gear ratio to create a direct connection between moving components. The all-new Accord also comes with a standard four-mode drive system, offering four distinct driving modes: Normal, Sport, ECON, and Individual.
Also included as standard is the Honda SENSING, the brand's advanced safe driving support system, sporting features such as Collision Mitigation Brake System with Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist System.
Exterior features include full LED headlights and daytime running lights and LED brakelight and taillights. The all-new Accord also offers Honda smart entry with smart key and push start system.
In the cabin of the latest Accord, occupants will find eight-way powered front seats with memory function, a one-touch panoramic sunroof, and a 12-speaker Bose Premium sound system. The car is also heavier on digitalisation than before, with a 12.3-inch Display Audio that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.2-inch driver's display, and an 11.5-inch Head-up Display (HUD). An extra special touch is the OLED dial beneath the infotainment screen, which can be configured for a variety of functions.
All this extra flair hasn't meant that practicality has had to take a back seat, though, since the Accord's boot stands at a generous 570 litres, and can even swallow longer items with the 60:40 knock-down rear bench.
The Accord RS e:HEV will be offered in five colours: Platinum White (pearl), Lunar Silver (metallic), Crystal Black (pearl), Meteoroid Grey (metallic), and Canyon River Blue (metallic). It will also come with an exclusive five-year unlimited mileage warranty and a 10-year e:HEV battery warranty offered by Kah Motor, Honda's local distributor (terms and conditions apply).
