All-new Mercedes-Benz CLA hybrid available to order in U.K.

The new Mercedes-Benz CLA hybrid will be available in Sport, Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium, and AMG Line Premium Plus specifications in the U.K. market.

Offered in CLA180, CLA200, and all-wheel drive CLA220 4MATIC configurations, the CLA hybrid is equipped with a completely new, electrified 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The CLA hybrid's electric motor, integrated into the new transmission, augments the combustion engine with up to 22kW and 200Nm of torque. It draws power from a 48V 1.3kWh lithium-ion battery.

All configurations have different combined outputs ranging from 100-140kW and 200-300Nm of torque.

CLA hybrid models look almost identical to electric CLA models. However, one of the few distinguishing features is the grille, with its central star and Mercedes-Benz pattern in chrome. It is framed as standard by a LED strip, which is illuminated when the headlights are switched on.

Thanks to MB.OS and the fourth gen MBUX, the CLA hybrid is just as intelligent and intuitive as the fully electric model. The new AI-enhanced system, developed in-house, makes it possible to equip every CLA with a supercomputer connected to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud. This enables regular over-the-air updates for the most important vehicle functions.

The CLA hybrid has different century sprint timings based on its configuration, which range from 8.8 seconds to 7.1 seconds

Every CLA is equipped with a 14-inch centre display with smartphone integration and an integrated video camera, powered by state-of-the-art high-performance chips and real-time graphics from the Unity Game Engine. From launch the MBUX Superscreen, which adds a second 14-inch display for the front-seat passenger, is equipped as standard from AMG Line Premium specification upwards.

Mercedes-Benz U.K. has said that deliveries of the CLA hybrid will commence in Q1 2026.
