Alpine to embark on new product offensive

Alpine has announced that it will embark on a new product offensive.
The firm will work towards being able to offer a 'Dream Garage' of seven new models. This dream garage starts off with a sporty A290 (read about the Beta pre-production concept here). This new model will be based on the CMFB electric vehicle platform that underpins the Renault 5.
Alpine will also launch a new all-electric C-segment crossover GT, set to be manufactured in France at the Alpine Dieppe Jean Redele plant. This will be followed by an all-new A110, which will be all-electric by the end of 2026.
This new A110, will be based on the firm's new Alpine Performance Platform (APP), allowing the firm to develop new economies of scale. This same APP platform will also be used to underpin a A110 roadster, and a new A310, which Alpine states will take the form of a four-seat sports coupe.
The firm states that it will lastly add two new D/E segment cars to round of this 'Dream Garage'. This new model offensive will also come alongside Alpine's continued efforts to develop hydrogen technology.
The firm additionally states that it is targeting a break-even in its financials come 2026, followed by an expansion phased from 2027, backed by this new lineup which it expects to see gaining traction in the U.S.A. It states that the three limited editions of the A110, comprising of the A110 GT J. Redele, the A110 Tour de Corse 75 and the A110 R Fernando Alonso were sold out within 30 minutes of their release. Alpine states that it expects sales to exceed 4,200 units in 2023.
