Aston Martin announces global partnership with Glenfiddich

Aston Martin and Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery Glenfiddich have announced that they will be partnering on a global level.
The two firms are marking the start of this partnership at Monterey Car Week in California, where both will be celebrating at The House of Aston Martin. And to mark the partnership, Glenfiddich will unveil a rare 1976 Single Malt, aged for 48 years with a finishing period in a specially coopered European oak sherry cask hand-selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman.
The special malt is described as offering red berry sweetness complemented by crumbly butter pastry, gentle soft spice, and a subtle touch of sherbet, while offering a palate of complex layers including dry oak tannin, sweet stewed fruits, and toasted wood.
Only 50 bottles of the malt will be made available worldwide, exclusively through The Distillers Library and The Glenfiddich Distillery.
