Aston Martin reveals new DB12 Goldfinger Edition

Straight from the silver screen, Q by Aston Martin has unveiled a new DB12 Goldfinger Edition designed to mark the 60 years of collaboration between Aston Martin and the James Bond film franchise.
The Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition gets an 'eight of hearts' mark embroidered onto the drivers' sun visor as well as gold plated accents in its cabin
Only 60 examples of the special car will be built, and while these will not feature any bulletproof panels or in-built machine guns, they will come in the iconic Silver Birch paint colour synonymous with the DB5 in Goldfinger.
This finish pairs with 21-inch rims in silver which sit ahead of black brake callipers, as well as bespoke gold strakes and a unique Aston Martin logo in silver with a black enamel.
The cabin of the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition, meanwhile, features leather seats upholstered in leather that features the intricate Prince of Wales check perforation pattern, a nod to the classic James Bond suit. This pattern is also repeated on the car's door inserts and headliner.
But what will catch the eye first are the car's gold plated interior accents, which include its drive mode rotary dial, roller controls, and notched gear selector (which takes design inspiration from the golden tracking device that features in the film's DB5).
The car also gets a 'eight of hearts' mark embroidered onto the drivers' sun visor, a subtle nod to the Miami pool scene in Goldfinger.
Each Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition will also be presented with a host of gifts that include a section of the iconic Furka Pass scene in Goldfinger in 35mm film, a 1/60 golden limited edition Aston Martin, as well as a magnum of 2007 vintage Champagne Bollinger, individually numbered, with four exclusive Bollinger 007 glasses, elegantly presented in a bespoke Globe-Trotter Air Cabin Case.
