At the Frankfurt Motor Show, Audi launched the new top models from the A4 range - the S4 and S4 Avant - featuring newly developed turbocharged engines, a new eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, and a host of latest technologies.

As with all Audi models, power is delivered through the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The S4 and S4 Avant also feature newly developed suspension for better corner handling, and have variable speed-dependent dynamic steering available as an option.
In terms of styling, the new S models get LED lighting as standard, and quad exhausts rest in a new rear bumper with a subtle diffuser. The overall styling maintains an understated look. On the inside, there are echoes of the A4, but with sports seats and a mix of Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery for a more sporty edge.
The new S4 and S4 Avant feature an extensive range of standard equipment, with a range of driver assistance systems including predictive efficiency assistant, active lane assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, Audi's pre sense systems and a whole lot more.
The two new S models will be available in 2016.
