Since 2023, Falken Tyre Europe has been supplying its e. ZIEX AO model tyres to the Audi plant in Ingolstadt, where the successful Q6 e-tron is currently leaving the production lines.
Special requirements are required for tyres on electric and hybrid vehicles: they should offer low rolling resistance, guarantee optimum traction on all surfaces, and be able to handle heavy loads at the same time. The e. ZIEX, which made its premiere in the first quarter of 2023, ticks all the boxes.
Its asymmetric tread was developed with Advanced 4D Nano Design technology which prevents pressure peaks from occurring on the edges of the tread blocks, providing a superior grip on both wet and dry road surfaces as well as a longer tyre lifespan. The tread design also reduces the rolling resistance and increases the vehicle's range.
Falken Tyre Europe has said that it is proud to contribute to the quality and innovation of Audi with its tyres and are pleased to meet the Audi vehicles' standards in terms of safe solutions.
