Early last year, Audi announced a new advertising and marketing campaign to celebrate the widely acclaimed quattro all-wheel drive system. The new campaign was launched during the annual National Football League (NFL) playoffs and takes inspiration from one of an all time classic American literature - Herman Melville's Moby Dick.
Reimagined in Audi's world, Captain Ahab, is a tow truck driver battling harsh icy conditions, while the white sperm whale from the novel is replaced with an Audi A6 quattro. The sequel to the original Audi produced video has been released and while Captain Ahab is settled in a warm tropical island, it seems the 'white whale' is still haunting him.
