The light soft top of the RS5 Cabriolet closes automatically in 17 seconds and can be operated at speeds of up to 50km/h. A special layer provides high acoustic comfort when the roof is up. Like all roadsters, the boot space gets compromised a little - taking up 60 litres of the 380 litres of volume. More space can be obtained by folding the rear seats.

The heart of the RS5 Cabriolet is an aurally pleasing naturally aspirated FSI V8 powertrain. The 4.2-litre with red painted cylinder head cover generates a testosterone inducing 450bhp and 430Nm of torque. All that power will propel the RS5 Cabriolet to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds before reaching the limited top speed of 250km/h. Audi can raise the bar to 280km/h if you wish. On average, the V8 delivers 10.9L/100km.
