Bentley collector gets special Speed Six Continuation Series

For many adults, their interests are a continuation of a spark ignited during adolescence. For this Bentley owner, it was no different: a 'Models of Yesteryear' scale model Blower Bentley, gifted to him by his uncle, kindled a lifelong fascination with pre-war Bentley racing cars.
Together with his wife, they enjoy a stable of Crewe-built Bentleys, including a first-generation Continental GT, a motorsports-inspired Continental GT3R, a second-generation Continental Supersports, and First Edition Bentayga. And it is no surprise to see the crown jewels of his collection: a Continuation Series 'Blower' 4.5-litre Supercharged and the latest addition, the third of twelve Speed Six Continuation Series.
Born from the workshops of Mulliner Classic, the Continuation Speed Six #3 was created with meticulous attention to detail to be identical in every respect to the original 1930s works racer. Individuality is achieved via its one-off paint finish and the racing number 3 adorning its flank and radiator.
Both the owner's Blower and Speed Six are the third of twelve in their series and are finished in the same specially blended shade of green, chosen - after careful consideration - to be halfway between the light green of the owner's Blower scale model (which he has kept to this day) and traditional British Racing Green. The colour was christened 'Embelo Green', an amalgamation of the names of the couple's three daughters. Just like the owner's scale model Bentley, his Continuation Speed Six #3 is upholstered in red, albeit a toned-down version.
The Continuation Speed Six #3 was also, at the owner's behest to the Mulliner team, equipped with two exhausts systems; one unsilenced as per original specification, and the other with a silencer for circuits where noise restrictions are required. Finishing touches include a white patch on the leading edge of the nearside front fender for easier identification and a hand-painted Union Jack on the driver's side of the car.
