Bentley reveals new bespoke Private White V.C. Bentayga

Bentley Mulliner has revealed a new, one of one bespoke Bentayga commission.

Called the Private White V.C. Bentayga, the special SUV is inspired by Private Jack White and the clothing line that he eventually came to own.

Private Jack White was awarded the Victoria Cross in World War One after having displayed exceptional gallantry by saving an officer, men, and equipment by tying a copper telephone line around himself and swimming across a river under heavy gunfire to rescue others.

The bespoke Bentley Bentayga takes after the courage of Private White by utilising copper detailing throughout its cabin, such as for its seat piping, embroidery and bespoke features, all representing the copper telephone line.

The car also comes with clean purposeful sewing lines on its seats and door interiors, reflecting the style and functionality of military-inspired clothing. The headrests of the car, meanwhile, feature an embroidered Victoria Cross emblem and Private White V.C. lettering, while its loose cushions at the rear have been crafted from a Lancashire-woven cashmere cloth commissioned exclusively to commemorate Jack White’s regimental blanket stripe.

The Private White V.C. Bentayga also gets organ stops finished in anodised copper, while a silhouette of 'Cottenham House', the Private White V.C. factory built in 1853, features on the passenger fascia. Finally, the car's bespoke treadplates and door pockets both feature a subtle embroidered bulldog, representing the company's unofficial mascot.

The Private White V.C. Bentayga comes finished in Dark Sapphire and gets 22-inch bright machined colour matched wheels to serve as the perfect dark canvas for the bespoke Private White V.C. badging and copper accents to shine through.

The owner of the special one of one car is said to also have received a capsule collection of bespoke clothing from Private White V.C. as part of this unique curation.
