BMW Asia and Performance Motors Limited have launched the facelifted BMW X1 right in the heart of Katong at I12 Katong. The car combines the driving pleasure for which BMW is renowned with the versatility, functional appeal and cutting-edge technology expected of a Sports Activity Vehicle.
The facelifted car now sports a more muscular and imposing presence, thanks to a larger BMW grille - whose kidneys now merge in the middle - and the sharper design incorporated within the new LED head lights.
All model variants also feature larger air intakes, underscoring the sporting genes of the BMW X1.
Another impressive feature with the facelifted car is located on the driver's-side exterior mirror, which now projects a two-tone LED 'X1' image when the car is unlocked, making getting into and out of the new BMW X1 that much simpler by making it easier to spot obstacles such as bumps or puddles. This function is part of the optional lighting package.
On the rear of the car, the redesigned LED taillights now feature a single LED bar drawing the familiar L signature from side to side, adding emphasis to the width of the rear end and the muscular stance of the BMW X1 on the road.
New exhaust tailpipes now sport an increased diameter from 70mm to 90mm, advertising the power of the three- and four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engines and hinting at the driving pleasure they conjure.
On the interior, an 8.8-inch touch display features the sixth generation of the iDrive operating system and utilises tiles arranged in the display's main menu to give the driver a quick overview of the most important information of the moment, allowing information to be always visible and easy to access when driving.
The central infotainment also features BMW's Connected and ConnectedDrive Services, providing digital services and convenience-enhancing functions to assist the person at the wheel with the task of driving and much more besides.
The BMW Connected app makes it possible to send destinations directly from a smartphone to the X1's navigation system. Once route guidance has been activated, Real Time Traffic Information service (standard on xLine and M Sport variant) will show the traffic situation in real time and helps the driver to react quickly to possible obstructions.
Book a test drive from 8 to 10 November 2019 at I12 Katong and recieve a complimentary Artisan Boulangerie Co. voucher. Simply approach the BMW Sales Consultants or Brand Ambassadors outside I12 Katong to find out more.
