The BMW Museum in Munich, Germany, is joining in on the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of BMW M with a special exhibition.
Visitors to the museum will walk through large sections of the museum on a specially created BMW M circuit, modelled on a racetrack, which integrates a total of eight BMW M stations wherein visitors will get to see models including the BMW 3.0 CSL as well as the BMW 2002 turbo.
The exhibition also highlights various aspects of BMW M, including the history of the firm's racing touring cars, the manufacture of the BMW Individual, the complete M story with background information on the distinctive colours, the logo and the anniversary logo launched in 2022.
Special aspects such as the BMW Art Cars and BMW driver training, which would not even exist without BMW M, are also showcased here.
Fans of BMW M can expect to see models including the BMW M1 and BMW M3 (read our review of the current M3 here) as well as design concepts, prototypes, BMW M classics and winning racing cars such as the BMW V12 LMR across these sections.
The BMW M motorsport exhibition at the BMW Museum will run throughout 2022. More information on the exhibition and tickets to the exhibition are available via the BMW Museum's website here.
