BMW to unveil unique i7 art car at Frieze Seoul 2025

In collaboration with Korean artist Lee Kun-Yong, BMW will unveil an i7 wrapped in a unique livery at Frieze Seoul 2025, which will run from 3 to 6 September 2025.

Lee, known for his iconic 'Bodyscape' series, has transformed the i7 into a mobile canvas that reflects the precision and responsiveness inherent in the dialogue between driver and car, drawing parallels to his own artistic practice. By exploring the driving experience through various perspectives, Lee artfully creates a dynamic interplay of figurative and monochrome areas.

Lee Kun-Yong stated that he hopes for this collaboration to create new encounters and connections through art

On 4 September 2025, Lee Kun-Yong will give one of his iconic live performances, creating one new canvas. Inspired by his work on the BMW i7, he translates his thoughts on mobility, time and space into physical expression.

The event, of which BMW is a partner, will also see the automotive brand provide a shuttle service for VIP guests at the fair.
