Anyone who watched the latest Die Hard film might have noticed a number of Mercedes-Benz vehicles utilised by the cast - including the legendary G-Wagen 'wrecked' by the protagonist. He took the wrong G-Class, for he should have taken the Brabus tuned G 65 AMG - the Brabus 800.

Four water-to-air intercoolers arranged under the Brabus carbon fibre hood scoop ensure lower charge air temperatures. This benefits power yield and durability even under extreme conditions such as in the desert. The optimised engine air supply is provided by two air filter boxes in the front fenders.
The Brabus 800 is equipped with a Brabus stainless steel high performance exhaust system with free flow metal catalysts and a sound management system courtesy of a butterfly valve in the exhaust.
The front of the off-roader is dominated by the powerfully sculpted fender flares. The front spoiler attaches to the stock model and is flanked by integrated LED daytime running lights. The fender adds 120mm of width to the front and back.
The interior of the Brabus 800 can be tailored to the owner's personal preferences with a choice of colours available for the soft and breathable 'Mastik' leather and the fine Alcantara. A limitless number of upholstery designs and the variety of exclusive wood or carbon fibre inlays are also available.

Equipped with 800bhp and a staggering 1,420Nm of torque, the aptly named Brabus 800 enhances the stock 6.0-litre V12 Biturbo engine to complete the century sprint in a brisk 4.2 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. An optional Brabus Widestar wide-body kit is also available on top of a distinctive 23-inch forged wheel.
