Buy a car in virtual reality - Audi Singapore introduces new VR experience
07 May 2019|3,320 views
Audi Singapore has introduced a new Virtual Reality (VR) experience for its customers here, for a detailed and complete visualisation of its range of vehicles.

The latest generation of VR allows customers to configure every Audi model to their own specific requirements.
At the new Customer Private Lounge at the Audi Centre Singapore, customers wearing the VR headset will see their dream car appear directly in front of them, as if it were physically there.
It's not just simply for customisation. The customer can see the exact car that he is considering in various colours and trim levels, even if he is unable to see it in person. Thanks to stereoscopic 3D rendering and complex data models, the effect is very realistic, right down to the smallest details on the exterior and interior. One can even zoom in to see the detailed and intricate stitching in the leather seats, for example.
The Audi VR experience also opens up further fascinating possibilities. Customers can experience their vehicles in a variety of different environments, taking a virtual dive into specific parts of the vehicle to explore their technical design.

Customers can also customise their cars from home, through Audi Singapore's website. They can then generate an Audi Code, which can then be brought to the Audi Customer Private Lounge to take a look at their cars in full detail.
Audi is the first vehicle brand to introduce a sophisticated VR and AR system into its sales process. In doing so, Audi is offering customers considerable added value as they make their purchasing decisions. It is fully integrated into Audi's IT systems and the online presence is always kept up-to-date with the latest data from the product portfolio.
