Caterham reveals more of the Project V coupe concept

Caterham has revealed more of the Project V ahead of its scheduled debut at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The lightweight fully-electric coupe concept has been designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle, and utilises a 268bhp electric motor to power its rear axle. Power for this motor comes from a 55kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which can be charged at up to 150kW via a direct current source.
This power, Caterham states, will allow the car to complete the century sprint in 4.5 seconds, and the firm is targeting a WLTP range of 400km for the car.
But of course, it's a Caterham, so fans of the marque will probably be most interested in the fact that Caterham is targeting a weight of 1,190kg for the Project V - a feat achieved thanks to the use of a carbon fibre and amiuminium composite chassis (for some comparison, the Alpine A110 tips the scales at 1,094kg).
The Project V show car will utilise a 2+1 seating layout, although Caterham will offer a 2+2 layout on the final car. The car also comes with an infotainment system that supports smartphone mirroring, and a digital instrument cluster.
The Project V show car will make its public debut at the Caterham stand at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
