Chery introduces new brand Lepas with debut model

At a global launch event themed "Colourful Life, Masterful Drive", Chery officially unveiled its new brand Lepas and showcased its debut model, the L8 SUV.

Zhang Guibing, President of Chery, announced that Lepas plans to launch five models within three years.

The product rollout will commence with the L8 launching in December 2025; followed by the L6, an urban model that targets metropolitan elites; and the L4, a stylish vehicle created with fashion-forward drivers in mind.

Drawing inspiration from the sleek form of a sprinting leopard, the Lepas L8 combines dynamic lines with a minimalist mechanical aesthetic, featuring signature vertical-pupil headlights and an intuitive interactive cockpit.

Built on four key pillars - Leopard Aesthetic Design, Luxurious Space, Intelligent Safety, and Chery Super Hybrid technology - the L8 leverages Chery's global research and development strengths to deliver next-generation mobility.

Through Lepas' global expansion, Chery hopes to mark its strategic evolution from automotive manufacturer to mobility lifestyle trendsetter.
