There are now four models available in the Chrysler 300C range in the UK, with the 300C SE, 300C SR and 300C SRT powered by the standard 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 215bhp, and the range topping 300C SRT-8 getting the 6.1-litre V8 Hemi engine with 435bhp.
The entry-level 300C SE model boasts equipment like leather seats, ESP, ABS, front, rear and side-curtain airbags, heated front seats, dual zone climate control, LED ambient lighting, front fog lamps, parking sensors front and rear, Xenon headlamps and rain-sensing windscreen wipers, 18-inch alloys and an in-car entertainment system with CD player and MP3 capability and a six speaker Boston Acoustics sound system as standard.
The next trim level is the 300C SR, which, in addition to the equipment already found on the SE, adds an auto-dimming rear view mirror, upgraded Boston Acoustics sound system including subwoofer and uconnect GPS, uconnect phone with voice recognition, a hands-free communication system using Bluetooth technology.
The SRT model meanwhile, in addition to the features on the SE and SR, further adds, a mesh grille with chrome surround, body coloured door mirrors and door handles, wheel arch extensions, 20-inch alloys, leather and suede trimmed sports seats and carbon fibre interior details. All three cars powered by the 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine can go from 0-100km/h in 8.7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 230km/h.
Finally, the flagship 300C SRT-8 performance model gets the same features as the SRT model, but of course boasts an even bigger and more powerful engine for better performance. The 6.1-litre V8 Hemi under the hood of the 300C SRT-8 is able to propel the luxury sedan from 0-100km/h in 5 seconds, on to a top speed of 265km/h.
