Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso BlueHDi arrive in Singapore

Cycle & Carriage France Pte Ltd has introduced the all new Citroen BlueHDi - the frontier in clean engine technology, now available exclusively on the new Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso.

Refining the merits of its predecessors, the Citroen BlueHDi turbo-diesel range of passenger cars is compliant with Euro VI standards and is designed to combine advanced performance with low fuel consumption and COâ‚‚ emissions.

This is achieved through the implementation of an innovative and efficient exhaust system with an improved internal efficiency and a new diamond-like carbon coating for increased reliability.

The innovative and unique character of the exhaust line on this engine lies in the incorporation of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) module that reduces NOx emissions by up to 90 percent as well as reducing COâ‚‚ emissions by up to four percent. The SCR module utilises a water and urea-based solution called AdBlue, which triggers a chemical reaction and results in a significant reduction in NOx emissions, thereby providing a cleaner drive.

The BlueHDi technology on the 1.6-litre turbo-diesel engine not only delivers an outstanding fuel economy and exceptional drivability on the Citroen BlueHDi turbo-diesel range of passenger cars, it is also compliant to the Euro VI Diesel emissions standard.

BlueHDi now comes with a new six-speed automatic gearbox, and it will be the next frontier for Citroen in Singapore.
