Citroen is updating its C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso models, bringing exterior styling tweaks, added technology and an expanded range of engines.
Design changes include a new front end, standard specification 3D-effect taillights and new 17-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, there are four design styles and five upholstery choices, which allow the cabin to be adapted to individual lifestyles.
Both models now come equipped with the new Citroen Connect Nav system, which offers 3D, touch-operated and real-time navigation as well as voice recognition for nav, telephone and media functions. The new system also enhances the functionality of the 12.0-inch HD screen on the upper part of the dashboard.
Technological upgrades include the Hands-Free Tailgate, which allows the driver to open the boot with a simple movement of their foot at the rear of the vehicle. Other technologies to simpify driving and improve safety include Speed Limit Sign Recognition and Recommendation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop Function, Active Lane Departure Warning, Active Safety Brake, Driver Attention Alert and Active Blind Spot Monitoring.
Two new engines have also been added to the broad range of Euro 6 PureTech and BlueHDi engines. A PureTech 110 S&S engine, with a six-speed manual gearbox, is available on the C4 Picasso, while the option of a PureTech 130 S&S, with a six-speed automatic gearbox, has been added to both models.
