Citroen Singapore has launched the new, all-electric e-Berlingo here.
The new e-Berlingo comes shortly after the launch of the all-electric Citroen e-Dispatch, offering local businesses here looking to go green with their logistics a smaller and more compact alternative.
As with the e-Dispatch, power in the e-Berlingo is supplied via a 134bhp electric motor delivering 260Nm of maximum torque. This motor is animated by a 50kWh battery in the e-Berlingo.
The electric van can be charged via direct current at 100kW, allowing its battery to reach 80% capacity in just 30 minutes of charging. The range for the Citroen e-Berlingo meanwhile, stands at an official 293km.
Easy loading and unloading of goods from the Citroen e-Berlingo is assured, thanks to its two large sliding doors that open into the cargo area on either side of the vehicle.
And at the rear, there are also two large barn doors, allowing cargo to be easily loaded and unloaded, even from a forklift. Cargo capacity here stands at 3,800 litres, while the maximum payload for the van is 751kg.
The van also comes with an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen display complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, while safety features include Hill-Start Assist, an overload indicator, as well as front and rear parking sensors alongside a reverse camera for easier trips to and from any warehouse or delivery destination.
The Citroen e-Berlingo also comes with a three-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and a traction battery warranty of eight-year or 160,000 km (whichever is earlier) for absolute peace of mind.
