Citroen has revealed its new C3 Aircross, and the crossover is now set to offer seating up to seven.
That's right, for those that want to get really cosy with your friends, there's a new option on the horizon. To be fair, this new Citroen C3 Aircross measures in at a total of 4,390mm long (which makes it 70mm shorter than the not-exactly small Toyota Corolla Cross).
And there's plenty of reasons to like the new car. We are spotting many design features from the handsome Citroen Oli concept to start, including those three-segment head lights which come paired with a vertical front.
The Citroen C3 Aircross stretches out at a total of 4,390mm long, and sports a near-vertical rear so as to be able to fit seven in its cabin
The Citroen C3 Aircross also comes with a boxy silhouette, with visual attention drawn to this fact thank to the car's offered two-tone finish. Citroen states that customers will also be able to enlivening the design of their own car thanks to the use of a host of different coloured clips present at the bumper and quarter panel of the car, which users will be able to change as they wish.
You'll note that the car also comes with a near-vertical rear, no doubt designed to offer maximum upper body space to the poor souls relegated to its third row. Citroen states that these two will sit on foldable seats normally hosed in the trunk of the car.
Up at the other end, Citroen is only revealing that a line of traditional combustion drivetrain alongside a hybrid option will be offered for the C3 Aircross, although those in Europe can also look forward to an all-electric option.
The latter will likely share its drivetrain with its e-C3 crossover it revealed in October 2023. The Citroen e-C3 comes powered by a 111bhp electric motor which is fed by a 44kWh lithium ferro phosphate battery pack.
The Citroen C3 Aircross is set to be launched in Europe come mid-2024.
