Citroen is launching an innovative digital communications campaign for the new C1, inviting people to get a close all-round look at the new model using their smartphones' built-in gyroscope.
This, the first operation of its kind from a carmaker, uses the Fyuse spatial photography application. As the first automaker to implement the Fyuse mobile application in their digital communications, Citroen is taking an exciting and original approach to promoting its neat little city car, the C1, spotlighting all the car's considerable virtues.
The Fyuse application uses the smartphone gyroscope (which detects movement of the device) for 'spatial photography' purposes. This means you can view the new C1 interactively from different angles by swiping your finger on the screen or turning the smartphone, creating a novel and surprising 3D effect!
