Get Alexa to play that Jay Sean song because premiums look like they are finally heading downwards.
Building on the initial dip seen last session, premiums across all car categories have taken a larger hit this session - premiums for Cat A, B, and E have all taken on five-digit hits this time. The increased COE supply for this quarter, announced last month, should have contributed to this downward trend, although we won't discount the role that the news of the various layoffs here has had on demand for new car purchases. It is worth noting that the total number of bids submitted this session in Cat B only exceeded the available quota by just 19% - making this value the lowest yet for the year.
