Collision between two lorries left 29 workers injured

Two lorries were believed to be ferrying workers back to their dormitories when they collided at the junction of Lim Chu Kang Road and Murai Farmway. The accident left 29 workers injured, with three of them suffering from serious head injuries.
The Straits Times reported that a man tweeted a picture of one of the lorries lying on its side and claimed that he saw blood stains on the road.
The workers were taken to the National University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Singapore General Hospital for treatment of various injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
