Corvette ZR1 tuned by German TIKT

Here is what a German’s take on an American muscle will look like:  a Corvette ZR1 has been given a head-to-toe makeover by German tuner TIKT.

The factory Corvette ZR1 packs a supercharged 6.2 litre V8 which delivers 638hp, and 618Nm of torque. By any standards, the figures itself already speaks ‘supercar’, but German tuner TIKT believes that there are still hidden potentials on the ZR1 that is waiting to be discovered.

Extensive works have been done to the stock car, including modified cylinder heads, valve springs and camshafts for the V8, as well as new compressor ratios. The exhaust and cooling systems have also been revamped to better suit the modified powerplant.

As a result, the 6.2 litre unit now pumps out 758hp and 910Nm of torque.

The rest of the upgrade list includes new racing suspension, more powerful brakes and a set of Zerra Ultralight Evo 2 alloy rims, not forgetting a new body kit with a new rear wing, all crafted out of carbon fibre.
