Cupra supports BAFTA Film Awards with fleet of Tavascans

Among the celebrities out in full on Sunday evening in London at the 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) was a special star in its own right in the automotive world: Cupra's latest electric SUV, the Tavascan.

The car was deployed for use among the fleet of VIP shuttles that helped to ferry guests to the red carpet, ensuring that they arrived not just in style, but also with the promise of zero tailpipe emissions. The event also marked the first time that Cupra served as the vehicle partner for the BAFTAs, and continues the Spanish brand's recent efforts to extend its partnerships in the entertainment space. 

As Cupra's first all-electric SUV, the Tavascan takes electric performance to new heights for the brand - especially with the more powerful 'VZ' variant, which is capable of a total output of 335bhp and a century sprint timing of just 5.6 seconds.
