Daihatsu begins sales of a new affordable sedan named Bezza in Malaysia

The Bezza has been launched as a result of a successful structural improvement at Perodua, following the Axia model announced in 2014. It adopts a global mini car platform that has been developed through the use of the mini vehicle technology and know-how cultivated by Daihatsu in Japan. In addition, the Bezza represents the first time that Perodua R&D took the lead in styling and developing the car's upper body.
The Bezza sedan come with a large-capacity trunk (500 litres) on a compact body. According to Daihatsu, Bezza offers excellent fuel performance with the highest fuel efficieny ever recorded for gasoline engine vehicles marketed in Malaysia. Daihatsu Perodua Engine Manufacturing (DPEM) has become operational as a brand new engine plant embodying knowhow related to SSC or 'Simple', 'Slim' and 'Compact' - a design language developed by Daihatsu Japan.
This front-wheel drive sedan can cover 22.8km/L, and is available as a 1.0-litre manual or 1.3-litre 'Premium X' manual and automatic. Malaysian car buyers will get to choose from six colours including Sugar Brown and Ocean Blue special to the 1.3-litre, along with Lava Red, Ebony Black, Glittering Silver and Solid Ivory White.
